Marsden Bay
Tyne Piers

Marsden Bay is a stunning contradiction of sandy beaches and rugged coves. On one day the sea can tenderly stroke the sand and causing the pebbles to clatter gently over one another as the waves sigh along the beach while on another day the breakers will crash down on the rocks as the sea foams and roars with a power that both stirs emotions and provokes contemplation. The sea ebbs and flows, receding to expose beautiful living rocks and pools and then, at the turn of the tide it hides all traces as it returns to lap at the cliffs.
